I hope you have had a great Summer, I’m sure everyone is ready for the children to come back or start their new pre-school!
Tomorrow, all staff will be in to greet and help welcome and settle the children in.
I have attached a letter of the week sheet for your information however, a copy will be on the pre-school notice board. If your child would like to bring in 1 item for “Show & Tell” beginning with the letter of the week we will ensure they get the opportunity to take their turn to show their friends, please don’t stress about the item, the focus is more on your child building confidence and self esteem and learning to turn take, listen to others and develop with social and emotional skills within their peer group.
Over the next week or two we will be asking all Parent’s, not just new starters to sign the Policy Documents ensuring any new Policies or changes have been covered. Please don’t forget the Mail Box can be used as a Suggestion Box and your ideas and input are very welcome. Parent’s are able to see their children’s profile at any time, if you have any worries or concerns at all, please don’t hesitate to discuss with your Child’s Key person or myself, your happiness is just as important to us too as we need to work together to ensure the best outcome for your child.
Can I take this opportunity to ask that you provide suitable clothing for pre-school, as you can appreciate the weather is very unpredictable so waterproof coats and wellies for wet grass would be good.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, for those in just for the morning session the time is 9.15am until 12.15pm, for children that are in all day, the afternoon session is until 3.15pm. If you have to collect siblings from school, please ensure you collect from pre-school beforehand as a late pick up fee policy is in operation.
